A petty cash sheet is used by business people for keeping separate record of petty cash. All day to day expenditures for office are settled in the petty cash account. Usually a petty cash sheet is prepared at the end of the day with signatures of the accounts officer with columns for cash in and cash out, amount discussed and date. Description of each expense will be given in description column. Petty cash report may be printed on a blank white page or company letterhead depending on the organization’s trends.
